New York 1956 Vintage Times Square Poster
Designed in 1956 by David Klein for Trans World Airlines, this poster reimagines Times Square as a kaleidoscopic explosion of color and light — a genuinely radical abstraction for its time that helped define the visual language of the Jet Age. The design was significant enough to enter MoMA's permanent collection the following year, and original printings now regularly command five-figure prices at auction. Aviation historian Nicholas Lowry has called it "one of the greatest graphic depictions of Times Square" ever made.
Restored from the archival scan, preserving the original electric jewel-tone palette.
