New York Vintage Aer Lingus Travel Poster

Designed in the 1950s by prolific American illustrator Adolph Treidler for Aer Lingus Irish International Airlines, this poster captures a dramatic black-and-white rendering of the Manhattan skyline, punctuated by a single orange-lit building and a jet streaking overhead. Treidler was one of the most celebrated commercial artists of the 20th century, with a career spanning magazine covers for Harper's and Collier's, WWI and WWII war bond posters, and decades of travel poster work.

Restored from the archival scan, preserving the original cobalt blue and burnt orange palette.
