TWA Star Stream Jet Antique Mid-Century Aviation Poster
One of the boldest and most minimal designs to come out of TWA's Jet Age poster campaign, this piece reduces the subject to its essentials: a single jet's contrail streaking across a deep indigo sky, paired with the flag-and-globe-emblazoned tail fin of a TWA "StarStream" aircraft below. Attributed to David Klein — the same artist behind TWA's celebrated Times Square poster — it's a striking example of how far commercial airline advertising had moved toward pure abstraction by the early 1960s.
Restored from the archival scan, preserving the original deep navy and cream palette.
