Designed around 1935 by Conrado Walter Massaguer for the Cuban Tourist Commission, this is one of the most recognizable pieces of pre-revolution Cuban tourism advertising — a joyful dancer mid-motion, maracas raised, against a saturated cobalt background. Massaguer, nicknamed "El César de la Caricatura," was Cuba's most celebrated illustrator and caricaturist of the era, later serving as the country's Public Relations Director of Tourism. This exact image has become an enduring visual symbol of Cuba's mid-century golden age of tourism.

Restored from the archival scan, preserving the original vivid cobalt, cream, and coral palette.
