Designed by S. D. Panaiotaky and issued by the Hong Kong Travel Association — possibly the earliest travel poster ever created for the city — this piece shows a Western tourist carried by sedan chair up to the Peak, overlooking Hong Kong's harbor. Sedan chairs were a genuinely common mode of transport for wealthy Peak residents in this era, already declining in favor of motor transport by the time this poster was issued, making it a real window into a specific, fast-vanishing mode of 1930s colonial-era travel.

Restored from the archival scan, preserving the original warm gold and harbor-blue palette.
